The magic of Puttur Narasimha Nayak continues its flow through this third part of a memorable concert rendered by him at Mumbai. Radio Idli brings to you two videos – First a masterpiece – Vollano Krishna in Rag Malkauns (Hindolam in Carnatic) and Naanena Madideno in Rag Des.

In 2007, Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak gave a memorable performance on account of Shri Datta Jayanti Celebrations at Mulund, Mumbai. The event was further enhanced by a prelude by Shri Kiran Kamath, followed by his divine harmonium accompaniment througout the function. We are glad to share with you two video recordings of the concert (part 2) for the joy of your divine ears!

We are glad to present you the first of a multi part series in honour of Shri Kiran Kamath. After being felicitated as “Gaana Gambhir” Kiran-anna is being bestowed with another coveted title today at Chennai. We present to you the first among a series of recording of his concert.

There couldn’t be a bigger Vijaya Dashami celebration at Radio Idli. Shri Raghavendra Mallya, a maestro at pakhawaj and an ardent music lover embarked on a project to launch “Raak Re Venkataramana”, filled with divine lyrics and compositions of Shri Santosh “Madhav” Kudva. The album consisting of eight melodious bhajans was released yesterday at the hands of Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak who generously came all the way to Mumbai from Bangalore, just for the release.The album is graced with great performances by Shri Kiran Kamath, Shri Vinayak Prabhu, Akshata Mallya and Shri U. Padmanabh Pai. We are glad to present two songs from the album, and present you a divine opportunity to book your own copy complete with the lyrics of the bhajans.
