Konkani Sammelans held by our Saraswat Brethern in the US have been the most popular events in bringing together our community in a country far away from their roots. The “Proud to be Konkani” song has been very memorably preseted at the Sammelan, and we are thankful to have a copy of it, to be shared with Saraswats worldwide!
We sincerely want to thank you for being a part of the “Awaken the Konkani in You†experience. The Santa Clara Convention Center was buzzing with Konkani chatter for three days. 1307 delegates from all parts of the world attended the convention. Most cherished was this opportunity to meet friends and relatives. The Panchadik Lounge with backdrops from Mangalore, Goa & Kumata was a perfect place for socializing.
