The album has been conceptualized and created by Shri Sanjeev Ghotgalkar (Kumaar Sanjeev) who has been very actively creating such brilliant musical works. Sri Sharada Mahotsav is celebrated during Navaratri by the GSB’s of Mangalore at the Acharya Math premises, which is situated inside the Sri Venkataramana Temple complex, Car Steet, Mangalore. This festival has been celebrated with religious fervour and devotion by our samaj bandhavas for the last 85 years. The 2007 Sri Sharada Mahotsav was the 85th year of the celebrations.

The famous ‘Mangalore Car Festival’ or ‘Kodial Theru” was celebrated with gaiety and devotion on February 13, 2008.
Ratharohan or ascending the chariot was held at 6.00p.m., and the Grand Chariot was drawn little after mid night.

GSB sabha Mulund celebrated its Golden Jubilee Datta Jayanti function on the 22nd and 23rd of December. It was marked with a Sita Kalyan function and a grand performance by Shri Puttur Narasimha Nayak and Shri Kiran Kamath.
