Anand Shenoy, a 12 year creative genius is the latest star on Radio Idli. For his remarkable ability to transform clay into animation characters, Pogo Kids Channel conferred the award of “Pogo Amazing Kid – Artist” on this young knight. Dinesh Shenoy, the proud father of Anand, shares with us the merry moments of the awards ceremony, and some of his creations.

Harish Pai arrives on Radio Idli, from the Middle East.
A strange thing happened last week.  Over and above the din of financial markets crashing around the world, we could hear a strange chanting from across the Arabian sea.  It kept getting stronger and stronger..until we could hear it oh so very clearly.  “makka Idli jaayi…makka Idli jaayi” !! 
Curious to know more, we checked the amchigeleuae yahoo group.  There too, we saw the same “makka Idli jaayi..makka Idli jaayi” !!
And then it hit us. The UAE Amchis were all eagerly waiting …

Meet Krishna Shenoi – a 15 years old genius amongst GSB child prodigies – he is on the threshold of teenage.  He is studying in the Millennium School, Dubai. He has a younger sister Susmita who is an 8th gr

Our next offering is a Sai Bhajan sung by 7 year old Hamsika Shanbhag.  This bubbly little girl is the daughter of Shanti & Anand Shanbhag & a student of grade III at KGS, Dubai.  Hamsika has been training under Hindustani classical singer Smt.Chitra Ghosh for the past two years.
We do hope you will like Hamsika’s rendition of “Janam diya tune Sai ko….” , originally sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy. Hamsika would love to receive your blessings via comments posted at radioidli
