rimad Sudhindra Teertha Swamiji of Shri Kashimath Sansthan was at Mangalore at the Venkataramana Temple, and Manju Neereshwallya (Manju-anna) has as always been quick at giving us a glimpse of the photos of the event. We also had a news coverage honoring Shri Ananth Pai, fondly known as Uncle Pai, the founder of Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle. Happy that Swamiji honoured Uncle Pai. He deserves it. He has been an icon for youngsters through Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle and other publications.
A little late, by just browsed thru this coverage now. Absolutely Excellent. Keep up the Good work. Nagesh, Kudos to you and your team.
Sadly, Uncle Pai is no more with us. It is indeed the good fortune of our community that such a “Large” n “International” personality loved by all, big or small, grown ups or kids belonged to GSB Samaj. Surely, worldwide all people, esp. ACK, Tinkle etc readers are surely going to miss him.
