Music, like the rhythmic breath of our soul, is eternal.

On his 99th birthday, Radio idli takes great joy in presenting to you the video of Shri S. Krishnaraya Shenoy. He sings to us a great composition of Saint Kanakadasa with his voice and spirits that would make the heavens applaud. WE thank his proud grand-daughter Tejaswini Shenoy, who was happy to share his video with us and share this moment of Joy.

Being a Kannada poet and well versed in English, Tejaswini respects him as her teacher in grammar. Her poem submissions never left her desk without his review and corrections.

Let us all join in wishing Ajja a very happy birthday and seek his blessings.

    Happy Birthday Sir, You have given a lot of motivation to youngsters here. Does Ajja performs his daily Sandhyavandan? Because that may be one of the contributing factors to his Living Life to the Fullest.

    Absolutely awesome rendition of Tallanisadiru Kandya Taalu Manave.

    If the video was not there and it was only the audio, it would be tough to put the age at 99.
